Equine Sustainability
Equine sustainability is an earlier project supported by Axfoundation. In 2016 Axfoundation initiated a collaboration between Lövsta Stuteri (stud) and a number of other operators in the horse industry. The collaboration aimed to inspire more people in the industry to start considering sustainability. The knowledge of sustainability in the equine industry is generally quite low.

A report was launched in the spring of 2016 that maps the largest advocacy areas. In the report, the reader is also guided as to what to practically do to contribute to a positive impact. In conjunction with the launch, the group behind the report held seminars and participated in a number of events. The timing coincided with many in the industry realizing that it was time to start acting.
