The Beef of the Future (Framtidens kött in Swedish) is a previous initiative supported by Axfoundation. Framtidens Kött was a collaborative project related to the procurement requirements of beef that has been established with the Federation of Swedish Farmers (Lantbrukarnas riksförbund, LRF), Max Hamburgers, The Natural Step, Axfood and Martin & Servera with a view to break the deadlock in the Swedish beef value chain and create the beef of the future—meat that has better flavor, higher quality and is more economically, ecologically and socially sustainable.
