Meeting at Torsåker Farm

Situated just north of Stockholm is Torsåker Farm, Axfoundation’s test farm and practical center for the sustainable food systems of the future. A place where Axfoundation, together with researchers and actors throughout the food chain, take on complex sustainability challenges and develop concrete solutions - in the fields, the water as well as in the test kitchens. The farm also hosts meeting facilities where collaborating partners to Axfoundation can organize conferences. Torsåker Farm offers meeting spaces for full and half days in a relaxing country setting, with modern meeting rooms in buildings dating back to the 18th century.

A place that lives and breathes sustainability

At Torsåker Farm, Axfoundation aims to accelerate the sustainable transition – for the sake of the climate, the environment, and public health. The ambition is to create a place that lives and breathes sustainability and that uses all senses to create the sustainable food innovations of tomorrow. Every single guest at the farm becomes a natural part of Axfoundation’s test bed, with the opportunity to taste and evaluate the food of the future. The goal is that you, as a visitor, leave the farm feeling inspired and full of new thoughts, ideas, and practical solutions.

The meals

Meetings at Torsåker Farm include meals and Swedish “fika, as well as separate dinner arrangements. As a guest at Torsåker Farm, you will experience some of the food innovations that are currently being developed in Axfoundation’s test kitchens. All meals reflect the collected scientific research as to what is sustainable – for the planet and our health. The majority of what is served is plant-based, however, sustainably produced meat is occasionally part of the dining experience. Naturally, we always take food allergies into account, but can unfortunately not adapt the meals according to specific food preferences.
