Boundaries\u2014a topical word that appears in many guises. Geographical and psychological, physical and constructed, visible and invisible, solid and liquid, desirable and unacceptable. Human Nature 2016 was a cross-boundary day where we tried to understand the human relationship to all kinds of boundaries, from those that define our security to those who make us feel trapped. Can we even talk about boundaries? A boundary is an indication of something that separates two areas \u2014 concrete or abstract \u2014 from each other. A boundary can thus be almost anywhere, between pretty much anything, and dissolve the minute you decide that it does not apply anymore.<\/p>\n
