Antibiotic-related requirements within the food industry is one of the many discussion points in the Antibiotic Dialogue.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

What is the purpose?<\/h2>\n

By sharing experiences, knowledge, and practical challenges in supplier dialogues and following up on antibiotic use in the supplier chain, the Antibiotic Dialogue aims to increase the participants’ ability to influence effectively. This, in turn, should lead to reduced antibiotic use in producer chains.<\/p>\n

The goal is to facilitate and support participants in their practical work to reduce unnecessary and incorrect use of antibiotics in food production. The goal is also to encourage more organizations to set antibiotic-related requirements in the supplier chain and thereby accelerate these efforts.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

Who is involved?<\/h2>\n

The group consists of companies that work practically and have the opportunity to influence the supply chain and\/or purchase of food where antibiotics are used in primary production (such as seafood, dairy, meat). Participants primarily work with requirement-setting within food retail, food wholesale, food production, and the food industry in general.<\/p>\n
