In cooperation with Swedish department store Åhléns and second hand chain Myrorna, Axfoundation started a campaign that collected clothing from selected Åhléns Department Stores around the country and donated to Myrorna. The average Swede throws away eight kilograms of clothing every year. Each kilo of manufactured textile uses about 15 kilos of carbon dioxide. A T-shirt requires about four kilos of chemicals during production.
